Volunteer for us
Tapestry run’s a wide range of services, all of which support local people to remain independent and enjoy a much better quality of life. Running all these services is no easy feat; We rely on over 200 volunteers and the food at our hub’s and the wheels on our buses wouldn’t go round if it wasn’t for the many committed people that volunteer for us.
Why volunteer?
Giving the gift of time is not only personally rewarding; you’ll get to learn new skills, improve your career prospects and make new friends with Tapestry. Some of the benefits of volunteering are:

We have lots of opportunities for people to volunteer with us in the following areas:
- Befriending, over the telephone and face to face
- Community Hub's, assisting with tea and coffee and activities
- Transport, volunteer drivers and escorts
- Administration, helping behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly
