Our day care services are run at three community (also known as HüBs) in Havering (HOPWA House in Hornchurch, Rainham Broadway & Paines Brook in Harold Hill) and have fully trained staff, state of the art equipment and innovative activity programmes to keep the people we care for happy, healthy, safe and connected to others.
Tapestry’s clients are always at the heart of everything we do and because every person is unique, we build a complete care package around their needs and listen to how they want to be cared for. The most important thing for us is that our customers feel in control and we make everyday life easier for them and others around them.
We feel we achieve this through employing the right staff, using a mixture of day’s out at the hub, care at home and working closely with everyone involved in the wellbeing of our customers.

Dementia Specialist
Tapestry’s Specialist Dementia Support Services provide compassionate, professional care for individuals living with dementia while offering much-needed support for their families and carers. Understanding the unique challenges that come with dementia, Tapestry creates a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where individuals can maintain their independence and quality of life for as long as possible. Their services include specialist day care, tailored activities to stimulate memory and cognitive function, and person-centered care designed to meet the individual needs of each client. By focusing on dignity, respect, and well-being, Tapestry ensures that those with dementia receive the highest standard of support.
For carers and families, Tapestry offers guidance, respite, and emotional support, helping them navigate the complexities of dementia care. Respite services provide carers with a much-needed break while ensuring their loved ones are safe and engaged in meaningful activities. The team at Tapestry is trained in dementia care best practices, offering advice, practical assistance, and a supportive community for families facing the challenges of dementia. Through its holistic approach, Tapestry not only enhances the lives of those living with dementia but also provides reassurance and relief to those who care for them.

Our HüBs are fully accessible and open to the whole community. They are a great place to meet new people, have a healthy nutritional meal and take part in fun activities. For customers that are unable to make their own way to and from the hub we have an escorted transport service with specially adapted minibuses for comfort and safety.

Our team are available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday to help you.
Our new Broadway HüB is an inclusive, safe and welcoming and offers a range of activities that benefit service users, carers, loved ones and statutory services. Our staff are trained to meet the needs of our users and our range of activity programmes keeps the people we care for happy, healthy, safe, and connected to others!
